How to use price lists

Price lists let you create reusable pricing templates with custom prices for products. You can apply a price list to any proposal to automatically update line item prices based on fixed prices, percentage discounts, or dollar amounts off.

This is a Pro feature.

How to create a price list

  1. Click Price Lists in the sidebar navigation.
  2. Click the Create Price List button.
  3. Enter a name for your price list (e.g., "Wholesale Pricing" or "VIP Customer Discount").
  4. Click the Add Products button to open the product picker.
  5. Select the products and variants you want to include in this price list.
  6. Click Add to add them to your price list.

Your price list has been created and the products have been added. Now you need to configure the pricing for each product.

How to configure product pricing

After adding products to your price list, you'll see a table with all products. For each product you can set:

  1. Price Type — Choose one of three pricing methods:
  • Fixed Price — Set a specific price for this product (e.g., $50.00)
  • Percentage Off — Set a percentage discount off the base price (e.g., 20%)
  • Amount Off — Set a dollar amount to subtract from the base price (e.g., $10.00)

  1. Price Value — Enter the value for your chosen price type:
  • For Fixed Price: Enter the exact price in your store's currency
  • For Percentage Off: Enter a number between 1 and 100
  • For Amount Off: Enter the dollar amount to discount

  1. Final Price — The calculated final price appears in the rightmost column and updates automatically as you change the price type or value.

Click the Save button in the bar that appears at the top of the page when you've made changes.

How to apply a price list to a proposal

  1. Open the proposal you want to apply pricing to (or create a new proposal).
  2. In the Products section, click the Apply Price List button (located next to the "Add Products" button).
  3. Select the price list you want to use from the list.
  4. Click Apply Prices.

Any products in your proposal that match variants in the selected price list will have their prices updated automatically. The system matches by product variant, so the pricing will only apply to exact matches.

How to manage products in a price list

Removing a single product

Click the trash can icon on the right side of any product row in the table. The product will be removed immediately.

Removing multiple products

  1. Check the boxes on the left side of the product rows you want to remove.
  2. A blue bar will appear at the top of the table showing how many items are selected.
  3. Click Remove Selected in the blue bar.
  4. Click Save in the bar at the top of the page.

Adding more products

Click the Add Products button at the top of the products section to open the product picker and select additional products.

How to edit or delete a price list

Editing a price list

  1. Click Price Lists in the sidebar navigation.
  2. Click on the name of the price list you want to edit.
  3. Make your changes to the name, products, or pricing.
  4. Click Save.

Deleting a price list

  1. Click Price Lists in the sidebar navigation.
  2. Click on the name of the price list you want to delete.
  3. Click the Delete Price List button at the top right.
  4. Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears.

The price list will be permanently deleted. This won't affect any proposals that have already been created — those prices will remain unchanged.

Good to know

  • Price lists require the Pro plan. If you're on a different plan, you'll see an upgrade message when trying to apply a price list to a proposal.
  • The base price shown in the table is the product's current price from Shopify at the time you added it to the price list.
  • When you apply a price list to a proposal, only matching product variants will have their prices updated. Products in your proposal that aren't in the price list will keep their original prices.
  • You can have multiple price lists for different customer segments (e.g., "Wholesale", "Retail Partners", "VIP Customers").
  • Changes to a price list don't affect proposals you've already created. The price list only applies new pricing at the moment you click "Apply Prices" when creating or editing a proposal.
  • Percentage discounts must be between 1 and 100.
  • If you discard changes (close the page without saving), your price list will revert to its last saved state.
