How to export Quotes and Proposals

Download your quote request and proposal data as CSV files for use in spreadsheets, reporting tools, or external systems.

Where to find it

  1. In the Quotify dashboard, go to Settings in the sidebar.
  2. Click Export in the settings navigation.

Exporting quote requests

  1. In the Export quote requests card, choose a date range. You can pick a preset or set custom dates:
  • Today -- Only quote requests from today.
  • Yesterday -- Only quote requests from yesterday.
  • Last month -- All quote requests from the previous calendar month.
  • Custom range -- Use the From and To date fields to set any range you need.
  1. Click the Export quote requests button.
  2. A CSV file downloads to your computer.

What the quote request CSV contains

Each row is one quote request. The columns are:

  • Request ID -- The unique identifier for the quote request.
  • Products -- A summary of the products and variants included in the request, with quantities.
  • Form field columns -- One column for each enabled form field in your quote request form (for example, Name, Email, Phone, Company, Message). File upload fields are excluded.
  • UTM parameters -- If captured, these columns appear: utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term, gclid, msclkid.
  • Notes -- Any internal notes added to the quote request.
  • Requested at -- The date and time the quote was submitted, shown in your store's timezone.

Exporting proposals

  1. In the Export proposals card, choose a date range using the same preset options or custom date fields.
  2. Click the Export proposals button.
  3. A CSV file downloads to your computer.

What the proposal CSV contains

Each row is one proposal. The columns are:

  • Proposal -- The proposal number.
  • Quote request -- The linked quote request ID (if any).
  • Quote requested at -- When the original quote request was submitted.
  • Status -- The current proposal status.
  • Discount -- The total discount amount applied.
  • Shipping -- The shipping cost.
  • Total -- The proposal total.
  • Created at -- When the proposal was created.
  • Sent at -- When the proposal was sent to the customer.
  • Accepted at -- When the customer accepted the proposal (if applicable).
  • Declined at -- When the customer declined the proposal (if applicable).
  • Expires at -- The proposal expiration date (if set).

All date and time values are shown in your store's timezone.

Good to know

  • The maximum date range you can export at one time is 365 days. If you need a larger range, run multiple exports.
  • The From date must be on or before the To date.
  • The exported file is a CSV (comma-separated values) file. You can open it in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers, or any spreadsheet application.
  • The quote request export includes all enabled form fields as columns. If you have added or removed fields over time, some cells may be empty for older requests.
  • File upload fields are not included in the quote request export.
  • Both date preset buttons at the top apply to that specific card only. Changing the preset in one card does not affect the other.
