How can I import customers into Bee Day?
Our app makes it easy to import customers from a CSV file directly into the application. To get started, navigate to the ‘Customers’ page and click the ‘Import Customers’ button. You can also download a sample CSV file to understand the required structure for your import. Please read the following article to learn more about the available fields, their requirements, and valid values to ensure a smooth import process.
You can import the following fields for each customer:
These fields are optional but highly recommended. Including them allows you to personalize your email templates when addressing customers.
The app supports multiple languages for email templates. By specifying a language, our app will send emails using the appropriate translated template. If no language is set, the default English (en) template will be used.

email
The customer’s email address is mandatory, as it is used to send emails and birthday coupons. If a customer with the same email address already exists in your account, the imported record will be ignored.
The month of the customer’s birth, provided as a number between 1 and 12.
The day of the customer’s birth, provided as a number between 1 and 31.
Note: We do not validate whether the date is valid (e.g., February 31 can be entered but will not trigger events).
The year of the customer’s birth is optional and does not affect the functionality of birthday triggers.
Setting the customer’s timezone ensures emails are sent at the right time in their local time zone (e.g., 9:00 AM). If not provided, the app will default to your store’s timezone.
