# How can I automatically create customers based on their quote request?

If you want Quotify to automatically create a new customer when a quote request or proposal is converted into a draft order you can use the field mapping feature. Visit **Quotify > Settings > Field mapping** to get started.

There are two types of field mapping:

**Shopify customer field mapping**
These fields will be used as the customers Shipping Address.

**Shopify order field mapping**
These fields will be used as the customers Billing Address.

From the available fields, copy & paste the tag value into the corresponding field you want to map. For example, in the screenshot below you can see how the first name is mapped:
